First things first. I’m the realest… just kitten. Couldn’t resist.
But really. Can we talk about how freaking amazing it was to be at Bonnaroo this last weekend? Like, how do you come back from that? When the wifi password is ‘good vibes only’ you know you’re about to have a good time!
If I had to choose a favorite performance over all of the sets it would be Hozier. Hands down. He was incredible live! JUST like his album. The number of people there to watch him was unreal! Easily over half of the festival showed up… Crayyy. Please, just stop what you’re doing and download Shakey Graves entire album. If you’re into ‘Americana Folk/Rock’ with an upbeat funky blend — this is where it’s at! By far ‘Dearly Departed’ is my absolute FAVORITE! My only regret, is that I have spent my entire life thus far without them in my iTunes.
And then… there’s this girl. More commonly known as ‘L.T.’ Her first name is Lauren and her last name is too complicated to pronounce. So we shortened it to L.T. 😉
A little background here. When visiting Nashville for the first time around New Years, we met in a boutique on East Side. She heard me talking about The Rage and she spoke up and mentioned that she and her friends from Chicago had ordered from us before. Such a small world! We have been the best of friends ever since. Isn’t it funny how the Universe works to bring the right people into your life at the right time? We had such a great time at Bonnaroo sending out our good vibes. Living out our care free weekend. In hammocks. With no makeup.
Hours upon hours of pure awesomeness and being totally lost in the music. If Bonnaroo isn’t on your bucket list.. add it. Don’t pencil it in. Sharpie it in. Right Meow.
This is one of my favorite ensembles over the weekend! For some completely unrelated reason the ‘Blame It On The Beers‘ seemed fitting. Okay. Maybe I had one or two. But who’s keeping track? Pair it up with some acid wash shorties — made in the shade.
